2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
The Malk 2018 Cabernet offers a quintessential Stags Leap cabernet, deep garnet-purple with intense concentration and a layered intensity. Aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, dark raspberry, and black cherry give way to notes of cedar, dark chocolate and graphite. The 2018 vintage provided a classic Napa growing season, with winter rains providing sufficient ground water resulting in healthy and balanced yields and moderate temperatures allowing the fruit to ripen evenly, late into the season. This resulted in a cab that is fruit forward, with wonderfully balanced tannin and a depth and finesse that will provide the drinker pleasure for years to come.
2018 Staffordshire Reserve
The 2018 Malk Family Staffordshire Reserve is a wonderfully concentrated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Aromatically intense expressions of blackberry, black cherry, and cassis are complimented with nuances of graphite, all-spice, and graham cracker. The palate is full of texture and weight; luscious, but maintains a sophisticated structural framework. This wine is enjoyable in its youth, but is certainly cellar worthy.
2019 Pinot Noir
The 2019 vintage of Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast continues a run of several years of incredible depth and concentration. Upfront aromatics are noticed right away, full of dark cherry and wild strawberry, complemented by notes of forest floor, black tea and dried herbs.
2021 Sauvignon Blanc
The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is like a breath of springtime. Freshly cut grass, citrus blossoms, and wildflowers start of the aromas. A distinctive limestone minerality has become a signature part of our Sauvignon Blanc, and is highlighted with these beautiful spring aromas along with a little clove-spice element. As we employ fermenting in neutral oak barrels, there is a warmth and texture to the pallet due to the lees contact that provides a perfect balance to the wine.
2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir
Our 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir shows expressive aromas of fresh strawberries, white peaches, and a hint of sweet cream as delicate floral and mineral notes arise in the background. The mouthfeel is silky smooth with a nice touch of acidity to keep the palate lively and focused. Enjoy this wine all summer long as a glass on its own or pair with fruit and fish dishes.
